Got these today... supposedly a reputable source... box was opened before it was vaccuum sealed. Everything about the box is real.... just the contents seem questionable.

There are a few on the top row that are rolled in the reverse of the others...

The wrapper looks pretty close to the ones I have seen up close...
Smoke one?
Yeah.... the wrappers look close to the box of 10 I had.... havent smoked one, and Im sick right now.

Just kinda peeved that they were opened.... maybe they were inspected... who knows... Id rather have a sealed box though.

That is done depending on which half of the leaf ye're using to roll. One wrapper leaf supplies enough wrapper for 2 cigars. Hence something like a reverse Between the Lines isn't really rare. The light doesn't allow to see well, but considering that, the cigars look ok.

The wrappers look just like the ones I've had. "Ruggedly handsome," I call them.

If you smoke them and they're not delicious and amazing -- then they're probably fake.

Ah.... in that case... I think they are golden. Everything else is there as it should be.

I wont worry about them then. They are listed in the cigarcyclopedia comparison shopper.... so I'll just say fudge it... they should be what they say they are.

The sticks and the bands look legit the key will be how they taste. I always request boxes being opened for inspection to prevent receiving moldy, broken, or god forbid beetle eaten sticks. Most times vendors will also add some padding to help protect them as well.

Just wondering why you made that comment?

Either they are or they aren't!

Of course it may just have been your camera, but to me there appeared to be quite a bit of wrapper color difference between the sticks.

If I recall correctly, that comparison list does not take authenticity into account, just price and indicated availability.
Not sure about the comparison shopper but the International Retailer Rankings has known vendors of fakes listed relatively highly.

They base it strictly on price and availability.

As with any purchase it's up to you to do your DD on the source. I can't stress this point enough!
