Punch Black Prince 2000

Last night I smoked an 01 BP that I got from a trade on another board. Not a bad cigar, burned sharp and had a very pleasant aroma, but wasn't anything special. Maybe if I waited a few days and smoked one after the rested it would have been better, but I ripped into the box and smoked one that night.

Back to my box of 2000 BP's. These are simply the best cigar I have in my humidor right now. Nice dark brown wrapper, intoxicating smell, firm and not too spongy.

First few puffs had a white pepper taste to it that faded into a into an almost wheat taste. Nice cup of french roast to go along with it.

Smoke has a very strong smell of charred oak that lingers.

Nice cigar, crappy review though.

Here's a side by side of the lighter 01's next to the darker 00's.

And no, that's not mold. Just a little dust.

Quite a difference in color and taste.

The Black Prince was discontinued just like my other favorites. Grab'em if you can find 'em!

Same guage, Corona Gorda. Punch used to have 3 in the CG range: BP, SS#2, and Punch Punch

Now only the punch punch remains.
