what is the difference in the belicoso and the robusto?

i dont know how i missed that, maybe i read a mistyped add. Anyone tried the belicoso yet?

I've smoked both sizes, and I prefer the robusto. I just think that robusto has a bit more punch and the flavors pop a little more. Honestly, both are excellent smokes and you can't go wrong with choosing either. I generally go with robo, since its a bit cheaper, and that way I can put what I saved towards getting another box.

The robusto is amazing. I just finished one and that bad boy smoked for 1 hour 45 minutes. You gotta take your time with them but they are just filled with flavor. I will tell you one thing and that is they are very deceiving because of the smoothness. The cigar flows like no other but they pack one heck of a punch.

There is some difference among vitolas for the T52, but it's not as extreme as it is with some other cigars. I think the robusto is a great place to start! And from there you can grab other sizes that you tend to prefer in cigars (assuming that's not a robusto). Though if you come across any of the T52 Flying Pigs (an LE that came out Fall 2010), don't hesitate to grab those for sure!
Like njstone said, there is not really a drastic difference between the two sizes, each has the same basic flavor profile. I'm not a liga expert, but in my experience I get more of the sweet undertones from the toro, with more richness in the dark flavors from the robusto. I love both sizes, but for what its worth I generally smoke more robustos than toros overall, especially during the winter, so my preference for the robusto could be a bit biased. When I get a chance though, I will be buying a box of toros just to have on hand for when the weather gets a bit warmer and its not such a pain to go outside and smoke.

yeah, with the burn time (and smoke volume!!!), even the robusto has plenty of latitude to grow and change, which it does. try them all and see.
With the slightly bigger ring gauge, I'd think the robusto would be a bit "smoother" and creamier than the toro with less perceived strength...or is this reasoning incorrect? Sounds like I can't go wrong either way, but want to pick what's best for me.
I may have missed this, but an earlier response said the Robusto and Belicoso were the same ring gauge. I just bought a box of the Robusto's and here are the dimensions on the order form.
