I don't usually have that much time to enjoy a cigar during my day and I am now looking for the ultimate time/enjoyment=cigar out there. What are your opinions?

"Ultimate time/enjoyment" cigar... well, for me, that depends on how much time I have to smoke! For two hours, I'd much prefer to smoke a Cohiba Robusto, but for a 45min lunch break I'd likely smoke a minuto, but for a 15min coffee break, I'm probably smoking either a cheapo I can toss 1/3 of the way through, or a cigarillo of some kind.

What kind of flavor profile are you looking for, and what timeframe?

I pretty much stay limited to short smokes.. Cheap sticks to toss is a good idea, but if you're like me, every penny counts, and it hurts to toss anything out! lol.. I try to find stuff around the 4x30 range... Those are pretty good for 15-30 min... Arturo Fuente Cubanitos, La Aurora Finos, or La Gloria Cubana Petit Maduros.. Great price/quality/flavor point for me... I've had some good cheapos too, but don't want to get boo'd for the name drop.. lol

I agree usually, but my cheap favorite I get for about $2 and I have yet to find a short cigar at the price that's anywhere close to as good.

Drop the name of your favorite, no one's going to boo you! Ok, we might, but do it anyway :D

I'm looking for something in the mild/medium range.

Well, its tough to say. If I had an hour, that's long enough that I would pick my cigar based on the profile I felt like smoking, and just toss what I couldn't finish, as long as it wasn't much larger than a robusto.

Trying to keep recommendations at cigars that will burn for about an hour, and are in the mild-to-medium spectrum, I could recommend any number of short churchills or short robustos. Perhaps check out the RoMa Craft Intemperance EC in the Charity vitola (4x46); its short enough, but packs a nice amount of flavor without being overwhelming. About $5-7 when on sale. Caldwell Eastern Standard Marble House (available from site sponsor Small Batch Cigars) would be another that would fit in that profile. Warped Flor De Valle Las Brumas would be another great choice.

Reality though is that without a price ceiling or a more specific flavor profile, the sky is literally the limit. You'll have to do a bunch of experimenting yourself to find that gem.

I do tend to purchase cigars in the "under an hour" size range for me...

I like the Padron 1964 Principe Maduro for NCs and I like the Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas for CCs...these usually last about an hour for me.

Really, I'll smoke anything that's delicious even if it is "longer than hour" in size and be ok with pitching it...but I generally try to save those for when I have more time. Toros take me forever to smoke.

I have yet to smoke a cigarillo that was any good.

Papas fritas are one of the only small cigars I've tried that are good, but they're too expensive for me to smoke them more than occasionally. Frankly I'm not going to spend more than $3 for a short smoke.

Diesel coronas were good but are very difficult to find these days. And they were still 5" long so hardly a "quickie."

My favorite is the Quesada Petites (4x25). Great 15-20 min smoke. Long filler (unusual) with a delicious EC (40th??) wrapper. Famous has them for around $10 / 10ct.

For me, the IR (Illusione Rothchilds) is the best thing price and time wise. I have yet to find a better deal than 45 to 50 minutes with an IR for $3.75 (tax and shipping included). Tastes Great and Less Filling!
