Looking back at your draft picks how many of them do you still own and how many do you start. Out of my 16 draft selections I have just 6 players remaining and only 4 that I start regularly. Just goes to show how important watching the waiver wire really is!

I lost 3 of my top 4 Draft picks to IR which a big part of what crippled me. but only 3 of my positions are filled with players I didn't draft. I found it very hard to find anything off the wire that was better than the backup I had drafted. I don't draft very well and I apparently am not very good at finding the diamonds on the rough on the wire either. Smetimes I wonder why I play.... :stretchgr

Good question - I've never done much draft vs final rank analysis on my teams. This year I'm in 3 'cigar leagues'. Still alive in only 1:

1. 2nd place reg season, still alive: top 3 picks healthy and starting - most of rest long off the roster

2. Made playoffs, bounced in first round: 4 of top 5 picks healthy and starting (5th is McFadden.) Only late-round contributor is Jordy Nelson (homer pick as much as clairvoyant.)

3. Been within couple spots of bottom all season - 2 of top 3 picks starting (3rd is McFadden.) Rest of draft is garbage - AJ Green in 14th only bright spot. I do wish to tell all that will listen that I had highest 'points-scored-against' .....so it isn't all my fault!!!!! :)

well 7 of my 8 starters I drafted, just lucky i guess. This is probably cause only a 12 team league so was able to pick up quality you usually can't in a 16team league.
