Unpleasant smoke from start to finish. No flavor, weird draw with no smoke. It was like the filler was particle board and refused to give up any flavor while being burned. Troublesome is the lack of smoke generated. There's no smell being given off by the smoke at all, when I do get a smell it's of burning hay. Every draw is a crap shoot and I think I've gotten the measure of this stick. Cost $2.60, but barely smelled like tobacco when I put it close to my nose. Leaf near tip keeps flaking. I'm a cheap newbie, but even I need to let this stick go, so I trash this rocket dog and light up the Punch Elite maduro I also bought hoping to salvage my smoke.
Stay far away from this stick at all cost. My review is an understatement!

Yeah, the Honduran one, The General Cigar Co makes Punch, Hoyo de Monterrey, and Belinda cigars from Honduran tobacco for the American market.

PUNCH CIGARS
Since 1840, Punch Cigars have been delighting smokers around the world with their bold flavor and superior quality. Punch originated in Cuba and was marketed specifically for the English market. Today, Punch Cigars are produced in Honduras from Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
So, yes Cuban seeds. The rest I don't know. That's a cigars veteran question. I'm a newbie.

I'm just joking about the Cuban seeds thing.

It's a marketing ploy used to sucker in newbies. Cuban seed means nothing. Sure the seeds may have originated in Cuban plants, but that doesn't affect the flavour or quality at all.

Flavours are more affected by the conditions in which the plant is grown. You'd get a more "authentically Cuban" flavour (whatever the hell that means) by growing Nicaraguan seeds in Cuba, than growing Cuban seeds in Nicaragua.
