Okay, there are pictures, sightings and "evidence" that BIGFOOT exists but an actual body , alive or dead, as never been produced. Well, that sums up my feelings about the Romeo y Julieta FABULOSA. I've heard all kinds of kudos and incredible reviews about the Cubano but I have never met anyone who has actually seen one let alone smoke one.

It does have the imagine of what legends are made of. Bigger than your arm, smoother than a baby's bottom and harder to get in your hands than Rosie O'Donnel.

Come on guys, let me in on the joke, enough is enough ... you're playing with my mind ...the FABULOSA is a figment of the imagination ... it's a spoof, right ?

I'm not to sure about a Fabulosa, but Habanos sa relased the RyJ Fabulosos in 2004 as part of their Habanos Collection series, the ones in a book style humidor. I believe the size on these are 7x50 or so. I think there were 500 books of 20 cigars produced. I'm not sure if this is what you are refering to or not, I will try and post some pics either when I get home tonight or over the weekend.

I think the Fabulosa was a really big stick back in the day. I'll have to check my stuff after I unpack but I think it was one of the larger cigar catagory, like 10" and I believe it was a figuardo, similar to a Fuente Masterpiece.

Just wanted to add that Partagas still has coffins of an 18" cigar, but I can't recall the name of it right now. I've seen 2 of them up for auction recently so if you really want one, they aren't that hard to find.

Guys, I'm starting to question the authenticity of the stick. It measures 9 3/4 length and the ring is about 52. I did a search on the Fabulosos and everything I have read says the gauge is 47. Hmmmmmmmm .....

Let me check into this. I'll be back ....

Now I'm really confused.The ones from the 80s-90s are 9 3/4 x 47
The re-released ones from the mid 2000s are 7 x 50.
The one I have is definitely longer than 7" but might fit the gauge.

Were any released with a length 9 3/4 x 50 (52 ?) ?

That thing is definitely not official production. Perhaps the LCDH had a few cigars custom rolled for them and they called them by a classic name?
