I purchased this cigar as one of 5 singles, so I have no idea of the date produced. It's one in a series of my search for a nice morning CC smoke.

Appearance was excellent. Very nice and smooth. Pleasing to the eye. Pre-light draw was a little tight, but tasted very good.

The draw was tight, stayed that way throughout the entire smoke. I had hell keeping it lit. Just setting it down for a minute was too long, it would go out. The burn was all over the place, first up one side, then the other.

It's definitely a mild smoke. Maybe too mild for me, even in the morning. Not a lot of smoke, and flavor was mostly just light tobacco. This cigar didn't give a lot, but I have a couple of others and will wait and pass final judgment later.

I finally gave up on it and put it away with 1 1/2 inches left. Rating it today, I'd give it overall a 75.

I bought a 14" bit at one of those tool places that helped out. Easier to manage than a shorter one.

The only veriations of this cigar that I have smoked were from '02 and they were very good.

It was the first cigar I ever really tasted a woodsy taste.

Woodsy is a qreat way to describe this profile. As Randy stated a very mild smoke.

I like a Regio or Choix Supreme for a morning smoke, a little more pop but not enough to make you go numb early in the AM.

Don't give up on these yet Randy, the RG may be mild, but I do find them flavorful. I find them to be underrated.

I've only had one of these and although I can't recall anything distinctive about it I remember it as a very enjoyable cigar.

Lots and lots. One of my favorites with a few years on them. This is my favorite Lonsdale with the VR Clasico running a close second. :thumbsup:

ETA: AZ, good description of the CE. I never cared for them; too wimpy and not much flavor. I like a Partagas Short in the a.m. for a good face slap. . .:glassesgr
