Man I am sick today..........

I know if I am a Pat's fan we have to keep saying in Bill We Trust, but this could be bad. I know he has a track record at doing this and has come out pretty good over all but I am just sick.

At some point he won't have anyone left to play except Brady.......

This could be a game changer in the NFC North. Man, when Sydney Rice comes back Minnesota will have three outstanding WR's. Favre gets his wish from a few years ago when he lobbied GB to get Randy Moss.

As a pats fan, I saw 'ewwww'.

Not a fan of them trading Moss away. We don't really have another great wideout to replace him at this point...

Annnddddd... It's official.

Moss to Minnesota for a 3rd round pick in 2011.

Uhm... Doesn't that seem a little lopsided unless they're freeing up cap space to bring in another wide out?

I've been saying all along that I think Bill's ego is getting the best of him. He had that great run when they were going to superbowls and he was doing it with great draft picks and with players that were very versatile. The last couple years though sheesh, gets rid of Seymour for a draft pick they havn't really gone after anyone free agent wise and now they have Moss who is perfect with Brady I say pay the man. Hopefully we can get a young receiver I'd be ok with Percy Harvin migraines and all.

"We don't really have another great wideout to replace him at this point..."

Your right there and also think about how much he opens up the field for Welker.

Here's the problem I see: Besides being a great deep threat, Moss played another important role. He made it necessary for the D to have at least their best player on him, if not two. This left Welker with a lot more options. Now, Welker will be covered constantly and Brady will have to find different targets. Unfortunately, our Special Teams will not be able to win every game.

That's exactly it.

Pats need to find another top wideout, if they can, before the deadline..

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing someone like Deion Branch come back... A quick, smart wide out is what we need right now to help welker.

The problem with that is Moss needs the to get the ball and I don't think he cares about taking away their opponents top CB or CB and Saftey. That's why he wanted to be traded. Just my 2 cents.

I dont like the third rounder....BUT- He is a aging reciever that the Pats wouldnt pay for next year his demands are going to be outragious thats why the Vikings didnt talk $$$ - they are on a one year plan.

Its basically a before deadline baseball deal

Yeah and I have no problem with that, but the pats need to find a seriously good receiver to replace him before the deadline if they really want to make a serious run. TFB and White Wes can only do so much.

And fans of the game and basic ethics...
Most every team did it and just the Pats were made an example of.

In fact, IIRC, they weren't even fined for "cheating", they were just fined for having an unauthorized camera on the sidelines during game time. Was it ever proven they actually cheated?

Oh, and how about Indy and pumping extra crown noise during opponents possessions? Never hear anyone talking about that...
