I have yet to try a RASS or a RAG and havent seen many reviews lately.
For those of you that smoke these please tell me what you think. Is this a cigar that needs to be aged?

By all accounts I've heard (I've not smokes many), RASS need age possibly more than just about any other cigar to really reach their potential. At least that's always been the concensus I've seen.

I've never had a RASS aged, I've had a few young. I didn't care for them, and they were extremely strong, imo. I'm sure they balance out quite a bit with some years on them.

I've heard that the 07's are smoking really good now, but I couldn't tell you from first hand experience. I've only smoked a couple and like Jason, didn't care for them a lot.

IMO, Rass need alot of age to become smokeable. Over 5 years if you ask me. The flavors are just masked behind the harshness before that. If you are looking for power and very little else, go for them young.

Kevin speaks the truth. They're definitely in your face when young. I haven't had any 07's. I think there's a couple in the humidor though.
