Rattlesnake in Malibu

I played Malibu Country Club today. The rattlesnakes are already out in February. It was 75° out. I guess they want some sun too. I almost ran over him on the 15 hole. He was about 3 1/2 feet long.

You never know what kind or how many critters you are going to run into when you go out for a round. I worked at a club and I found one of those in the woodpile! I didn't even see it until I finished gathering my wood. Watch where you step Cowboy!

Yeah, and easier to spot. Damn, I hate snakes. Well, no, I think they are really cool creatures, I just hate being anywhere near poisonous snakes that aren't behind glass.

Yep the 3 par. He was right on the cart path right by the tee box. We disturbed his afternoon sun.

I am just surprised the snakes are out this early in the year. I expect snakes in July...but Feb???

We will have to get together golf and smoke.

This is why one of my clubs is a snake hook and I also carry some pillow cases. Never know when you're going to find something cool :grin:. Then, I'm not like most people :laugh:. Nice find :thumbsup:.
