Well gents. Been married to the same women for 15 years today. Never thought it would happen to me. Never thought I would make the age of 21 based on the abuse I gave myself in the younger years.

Have not, in the 15 years, been able to figure out the wifey and what to get her. She is never satisfied.

So, I think I am taking a knee and...

Signing up for Dance Lessons.

What is the consensus? My thoughts are... There goes the hangin at the bar with the boys at weddings.

What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from those with some miles on their relationships.

I have not dropped it on her yet. I have til 11:30am today to change my mind.

PLEASE ADVISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

I've been tempted to do that myself.

Honestly, there's few things more classy than being able to step on a dance floor, anywhere, and dance with style and grace. It's a timeless and classic ability that any man who considers himself a gentleman should have.

Tell me it wouldn't be cool to be able to pick any random woman, walk her to a dance floor and then effortlessly lead her around the dance floor. WHen it comes to classic wedding style dancing, it's easy to tell if a mna knows what he's doing on a dance floor, and when he does know, it looks great.

DO IT!

I think i will too. A good mother's day gift for me.

Oh, and many congratulations on 15 years of marriage. A rare thing indeed in this day and age.

Well done for both of you.

The wife and I are actually about to start taking dance lessons. And one would think that scoring points like that on a regular basis (going dancing on the weekends)would be nice to have in the bedroom. Think about it, You're making her day by dancing with her, what do you think will happen?

All those guys will be hatin on you because they can't dance. Most of their hatred will come from the fact that their wives will be on them to take lessons. My uncle and his wife took lessons abouit ten years ago and then refreshers every now and then. It's really cool to see them get up after appatizers and dance for a song or two then come back to the table. People applaud them just for having the guts to get up thier. One time my aunt left him at the table and a lady came up to my uncale asking if that was his wife. If not she wanted a date. If you aren't self concious you should do it. If you are then you should do it for sure.

I did it and my wife appreciated it. It wasnt all that bad and its not like we go out dancing. Most of my friends are married and I havent been to a wedding lately where the dancing hasnt been line dancing.

Congrats. Coming up on 10 years myself in July. I hated the dance lessons my wife and I took, but it was a scam place and they were always trying to sell something. They got shut down shortly after. I'm sure I'll end up taking lessons again at some point.

Congrats on the milestone! I think the gift of sharing time / activities is the best present you can give to a woman. Good luck on the lessons - I think you'll enjoy it just as much as your wife.

Well gents-

When I popped the notion, she was looking at me like a deer in the headlights. I think it hasn't sunk in yet.

Thanks again for all the support.
