Real or Fake Monte #2

I had another thread on my first cc experience but now im trying to get y'alls opinion on is this monte #2 a friend gave me for free real or fake



Also here is a band from a recent cohiba i smoked I originally thought it was a piramides but after talking to some guys on here I believe I was wrong.

I'm certainly not an expert, but something about the tip of that monte just doesn't look right. Hope I'm wrong though...

Tough to tell on the Monte, but if it is from the same source as that Cohiba . . . The C in Cuba on the Cohiba is a well known fake.

The curl in the C shouldn't cute through the last of the letter. This is image is from another site it's not "your" band it just says that were someone was pointing out problems, you can see the problem with the C.

Thanks the cohiba now determining it was a fake actually was a great smoke n burned well but i've been told the quality of some fakes these days smoke really well. In y'alls opinion what tastes or smoke quality should the monte #2 have, kinda like a point of reference when I smoke it?

Sorry you got a fake. And don't make a general assumption that the quality of fakes smoke really well these days. Sure you can find some quality fakes, but you can also find fakes that are filled with banana leaves, thread, paper and other random nasty shit. You said the guy got these in 2009 or later... you don't know what is inside. I personally will never knowingly smoke a fake cigar because I have seen pictures/videos of the nasty shit that can be inside... it's not worth it IMO.

Looking at the pics of your Monte, the bunching of the tobacco in the picture of the foot sticks out to me. The picture isn't the best so maybe it's just that, but it doesn't look like a good bunch of tobacco that you would normally see. Sure you can find some CC's that don't have good bunching, but that picture just doesn't look right to me.

Monte #2s can be all over the map, it is going to be very tough to put into words what you should taste in a Monte #2.

The Cohiba band is a fake. But if it smoked well, then forget about it being fake and remember the smoke for how it was.
