So I recently saw these cigars and I was told they came from a very reliable source, but I just cant help but wonder. I wanted to get you all's opinion before I start with the accusations. The box looked flawless to me, and Im not a newbie to the cc comunity, but Im not the worlds leading expert. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

So I pointed out some of the things that botheed me about these cigars. The coloring and sharpnss of one of them seems to be of higher quality. Also if you look at the colors of the bolivar shirt they seem different on each band, all of them seem a touch fuzzy except for the one sharp one, which is the only reason that I even suspected anything in the first place. The box came sealed.

Let me know guys!!! Thanks.

I doubt there are any fakes of these on the market yet! The gold foil is supposedly hard to get (why they were discontinued in the first place, I think) and any reliable source would have authentic ones.
Besides, quality control on the Island isn't the best. The original release of these cigars a month or so ago said '25-Gold Medal' on the box. What's your box code?

Only way to tell for sure is to put one to a firey death. Hope it all works out. Makes me want to scrutinize my box. I may have gotten mine from the same place.. those LCDH bands are only common to one region.

All good points. Usually the fakes are well known and well marketed brands, Cohiba, Partagas etc. These are a new release with ten to a box. Not much money for the work to dup these. I agree with the lack of printing quality. I think your OK.

They're 'new' yes, but in a sense not. The Wolters release used the same foil and standard Bolivar band. So in essence they've had a few years to beef up their counterfeiting techniques for these if they wanted.

They look fine to me and I've seen a number of Bolivar bands that range from sharp to very fuzzy or just an outline.

Judging authenticity by bands alone is not recommended. When dealing with printing presses (sometimes old ones at that) quality of bands can vary within a box. Nothing from the pictures you provided looks suspect and the box code is legit.

Consensus opinion is that they are probably legit. These are very good fresh, so try one!
