First,
Thank you for letting me vent. It helped me. A lot. That was just a few things that were ticking me off. It’s funny, my kids said to me the other day, ‘it’s ok for Godzilla to break down.’ FYI, I’m Godzilla.
This week has been cold in Houston. A beautiful cold few days. Babe would’ve enjoyed this weather. This is soccer, cigar, bourbon, mezcal weather. Sitting in the back deck smoking a cigar and Babe sharing pics to his Brothers. And telling me ‘Babe, got us tickets to go see the Mustangs play soccer today’. North Shore High School. Babe graduated from that school, my boys also graduated there. He was one proud parent.
Also this week we received a few good news. Good news is good.
Our granddaughter, Nayelli, is two years old (a terrible two yr old) lol. She talks a lot. There are times I can’t understand her. Every time I hold her, I always tell her ‘I love u Gansito’. Yesterday, I was hugging her and I said to her I love you, she answered me back with ‘I love you Grandma. I love Grandpa too’. ♥
One day, Babe n I were talking and I said ‘you jump I jump’. He told me no. That I had to be here and see our grandkids grow up. I realize what he meant when Nayelli told me she loves me.
I also was googling how to deal with mourning. I also read a few posts on how a few widows were actually feeling the way I was. I realized it was ok to feel selfish and to be a total fckn bitch. Emotions suck. That’s one thing I can’t control.
One day Godzilla will feel her strength again. In the mean time I’m riding this emotional roller coaster.
