your buying the Aristocrat? Ask Bob what he things will work for you. I know Radio Shack had a nice remote system, but not sure if they were able to be corrected. Check them out if Bob does not have an answer is the best I can do to help. GL.
I see the other post. Is this for the new cabinet? If so, you are getting a set and forget system, that is all you need right there.
If something happens to the S&F system, you will need more than another hygro to fix it since you will then have humidity issues. Ask Bob what he thinks. From what I know of the set up, you should not need anything else. For peace of mind, use the other hygro you have and adjust the reading from that you should be good to go. GL.
I think you are obsessing on these brother. The S&F is all you should need.
Ron,glad your still around.If i had a few hundred dollars worth of cigars,i could care less.I'm aging cigars 5-10 + years and want the best out there and even the best can have trouble.Imagine waiting ten years and all the sudden something goes wrong and ruins your cigars,thats 5-10 years i could never get them back.
Thanks Ron for the info.I'm going to go with this unit http://www.itcelectronics.com/product_info.php?cPath=1202&products_id=6475 its $43 and i already have the salt bottles.I can mount it on the outside and calibrate everything to read the same.I'll post some pictures when i'm done.
