your buying the Aristocrat? Ask Bob what he things will work for you. I know Radio Shack had a nice remote system, but not sure if they were able to be corrected. Check them out if Bob does not have an answer is the best I can do to help. GL.

If something happens to the S&F system, you will need more than another hygro to fix it since you will then have humidity issues. Ask Bob what he thinks. From what I know of the set up, you should not need anything else. For peace of mind, use the other hygro you have and adjust the reading from that you should be good to go. GL.

Ron,glad your still around. If i had a few hundred dollars worth of cigars,i could care less.I'm aging cigars 5-10 + years and want the best out there and even the best can have trouble.Imagine waiting ten years and all the sudden something goes wrong and ruins your cigars, thats 5-10 years i could never get them back.
