We are in the processing of cleaning out some closets and I came across a dozen or so records from 20 years ago. I don't even own a record player anymore. Do I continue to save these or throw them out?

Keep them. They're a piece of history.
Also, who knows, they may be worth money some day. I got a crapload of comic books at a yard sale once when I was a kid. I wasn't really into them so after a couple years I tossed them. Now they'd be worth a bundle.

I would love to burn the Arlo Guthrie, The Ramones, and Steve Martin to CD. Who has the technology here to do that? Maybe we can swing a deal.

I think DAK has a USB converter and software <$75 that you hook up the turntable to the converter, USB to you puter and record away. A co-worker was telling me about one he recently bought so I'll ask him tomorrow. The software will take out the hisses and pops if you want it to. I believe this worked with turntable or cassette deck, the only drawback was that it had to record in real time. Once it's on the hard drive you could burn us all a copy:laugh:

I'll let you know,

17 to 1 says keep them. You can show them to Jr. in 10-20 years and say THIS is what daddy listened to back in the 70's and 80's. If you only have that few, keep them all. I wish I had some of the early cassette and CD I tossed or sold on half.com (now Ebay owns them).
