Red Hot Chili Peppers- I'm With You album

Personally I was really anticipating this release. Being a huge Peppers fan I could not wait to here their new sound with Josh Klinghoffer instead of John Frusciante.

I did get the cd on August 30th, but instead of listening to it, I decided to go to the movie theater where they were showing a concert of the Peppers performing songs off their new album. It was awesome.

It could not have come at a better time, because all this happened on my B-Day. Anyone else get their new cd?

been following or quite some time, way back with Mother's Milk. The stuff noe just all sounds the same. Sad but my interest has faded. The movie concert sounds pretty cool though

I saw them open for Prince when I was like 13, and my uncle almost made me cover my eyes, when they came out with socks on thier jocks and nothing else. Of course a famous image now, but at that time my homophobe uncle was not amused. He never became a fan. lol

I will not lie to you, but I would have loved to see that show though. I was explaining to a friend of mine the other day just how "punk" the Peppers where back in the day. He was like "dude they are just some Cali guys that aren't shit". I just told him dude they put on a show in nothing but tube socks. He was in shock and said something to the effect of "Dude no way, that is so hardcore punk."
