Requesting specific box dates?

I recently placed my first small CC order through a recommended vendor, and I have a question. My question is, are you able to request certain year dates, or do vendors just ship you what they have in stock and hope that you get some older stock/year dates? Thanks.

You can ask some in advanced by email. One in particular has updated box code lists of stock available. Others you take what you get

You can always ask for what codes are available. Some retailers clearly state you can not request a specific date code. Some with exceptionally excellent customer service will tell you what box codes are available if asked. I would recommend you establish a good close relationship with your vendor.

On my 2nd order I emailed the rep and requested box list. Ended up with a couple feb 14s and a may 14.. definitely worth an ask
