Retailer that delivers cigars in best condition

Hey there,

I am about to pull the trigger on some samplers and being new, this will be my first "internet purchase." The samplers are available from Famous Smoke and Cigars Int. I have read semi-lukewarm reviews about CI and the condition of their smokes, but the post was not so recent. Given that post and that FS is a sponsor, I am thinking to go that route. That said, I am interested in what others have to say about CI, FS, and any other vendors. After all, how good a deal is it if the smokes aren't in good shape, no?

I probably get 90% of my smokes from CI and have always had great results and customer service.

CI and famous i have used many times and had no issues. Also Holts is good. For your boutique cigars it doesn't get any better than New Havana Cigars.

NHC has the fastest turn around and best packing out of any place I have ever ordered from.

Every other place out there is pretty good too. If you are ordering from a company thats been around for awhile, theres bound to be a couple angry customers or publicly made complaints.

CI hasn't failed me yet! Haven't tried famous, I also tried Thompson they even send you a return label in case something was wrong. Up until yesterday I was going to continue to order from Thompson but a few of the brothers were strongly against it, so I guess thompson is out? Good luck!

I have recently become addicted to hunting for cigar bargains online (thanks to this forum). In the past 3 weeks I have ordered from CI 3 times, Famous 3 times, and JR twice. I had a couple of the packages sent to my work address also (trying to keep my wife off the money spent trail). All 3 companies shipped quickly and packed well. My last box from famous was beat up a bit but that was likely in transit and it was packed well so no damage to the lighter it held. It seems your fairly safe if you go with any of them.
