I enjoyed meeting you this weekend. I hope the rest of your birthday weekend goes great.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rick in Columbia SC at the herf at WildHare sports bar. There were about 125 cigar lovers. We smoked, drank, told lies, and best of all raised over $3,000 for charity. Everybody walked out with tons of cigars and other accesories.

It was good to meet up with someone as enthusiastic as Rick. Great guy. If you ever get the chance to meet up with him, take it.

You beat me to the post.
A BIG THANKS goes out to stogies&hoagies (Charlie) for giving me a heads up on a smoking event at a great little sports bar down in the Columbia, SC area. Around 125 people showed up for this event and it was a GREAT time with tons of giveaways donated by many manufacturers and retailers including Heartfelt Industries (thanks Dave!). As soon as you walked in you signed in and got a bag of around 10 nice cigars. In addition, reps from Oliva, Aurora, Perdomo and CAO were there handing out freebies for everyone to sample and prizes to be raffled off throughout the day. One of the hand outs I smoked while I was there was an Oliva Serie O Sun Grown which was a very nice cigar. Besides the giveaways, they raffled off over a dozen nice lighters (pocket and table top), tons of premium cigars, Palio cutters, at least four or five humidors, a couple of huge ones including a large Perdomo Humidor and the grand prize being a custom hand crafted humidor worth approximately $400. It was a serious work of art and extremely well built. So many other prizes I can’t even recall. I even won a box of cigars myself (pictured below). It was just a super day mixing it up with great a great bunch of people and as Chalie pointed out, raised a good chunk of change for charity. They get together twice a year, the next one being in October but without the giveaways. With the quantity and quality of prizes they had there Saturday, once a year on the giveaways is more than enough. I plan to be there in October again just to enjoy the company of the folks there and hopefully meet up with Charlie again.

Thanks again Charlie, you're the man. :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
Got to get busy at work here now but watch for a PM from me as soon as I get a chance.
