RIP - Deputy Suzanne Hopper!

The next time you bitch or complain about te police officer or deputy sheriff that gave you a ticket, remember these folks put themselves on the line each and every day. I know we thank service men and women for their service, but these folks, just like fire and paramedics also serve and keeps us all safe on the home front.

Deputy Suzanne Hopper was killed on New Years day, January 1, 2011, in Ohio. She responded to a gunshot call and was shot by te assailant with a shotgun. She is survived by her husband and two children.

Thanks for posting Bill. I saw this on the news this a.m. as I made plans to attend the service of a fallen Arlington P.D. officer, also female, who was killed last week by a wife-beater/child rapist.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Deputy Hopper's husband, children and family, as well as the wounded officer who came to her aid and the other Deputies in her Sheriff's Office.

Terrible news anytime someone pays the ultimate price for doing their job. I was shocked to see this today while at my B&M.
