Dear friends, just wanted to share the passing of a courageous friend who not only fought a 22-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 45 years old. (he actually read his own CAT scan being a surgeon, which must have been humbling)

He was gentle, humble, and an easy-going father to 3 lovely children, a devoted husband, and a great friend. They gave him a year and he lasted almost two, and did it with dignity and grace. He devoted the end of his life to his wife and children, making videos and letting those close to him know just how much he cared for and appreciated them.

He was a mentor to many young surgeons and there was not a trace of arrogance in his demeanor.

Whether you raise a glass, spark, or just have a moment, please remember Kenny and his family in your thoughts. He was one of the good guys and died way too young.

May his memory be eternal.

Thanks.

Pancreatic Cancer is brutal. I know a few people who have suffered with it. Not a high survival rate. I'm sorry to hear this Jack.
