This is the third cigar in the "Festival Series". After the experience with the "sick" Cohiba and Bolivar cigars, I had held off a little before smoking the next one for review. The little Half Corona, which will be released at some point this year, measures 3 1/2 x 44. It has a solid feel, and has some slight veins in the wrapper.

The pre-light draw has a bit of a sweet taste to it. Upon lighting, the first half of the cigar is grassy (almost like hay). Mixed within are flavors of honey, nutmeg and toast. The burn was slightly off, but corrected itself as it went, and produced a dirty gray ash.

The remainder of the Half Corona offered a cinnamon and honey flavor, with graham cracker, and bits of cherry (a new thing in a CC for me). Still a dirty gray ash, but the burn was spot on.

I burned this little guy as far as my fingers would allow...and wished I had more to burn. I really enjoyed this little smoke, and look forward to having the chance to smoke more. A great little smoke that lasted one hour on the nose.

Wouldn't you like to know?
I too am excited about these but the only issue I have is that it sounds like the pricing may not come into place as we would hope. Fear is that they will more then other larger sizes of the same Marca. If these come in at the right price I do love the size

Great review, unlike others this is not one that I will be seeking. That is why it is great to read about the experience.

Thanks.

Hmm. Pricing definitely is the only issue I could foresee with these. Very interested in trying them. Thanks for the review dude.

This is a cigar a look forward to trying aas well. Everything I've heard so far has been positive and I enjoy the Upmann line.

As mentioned price will determine if make a box purchase of them or not.

Thanks for sharing your review with us.

LOL, I'm such a fast smoker I would have smoked that little guy to the nub in 20 mins.

An hour for that guy?! Holy cow, you are a very patient man.
These sound like they would be up my alley for a good, quick winter smoke.
