I've tried all three of RP's "A" Series (monster cigars, 9x52), and I believe my favorite is the "Vintage 1990" (over "The Edge" and "Sun Grown").

Has anybody else tried any of the A series, and what were your comments?

I have one of each I believe ... in the coffins. The Vintage '90 is possibly my least favorite RP cigar. It's a good cigar by all accounts, and has a ton of flavor, I just don't care for it much. I much prefer the '92, OWR, Decade, Edge.

RP has a few blends that I enjoy. Love the 92, OWR, and the decade sticks (heard the 99 conn is good too). Can't say that I have sat down long enough to enjoy the A viotola yet...just not enough spare time on hand.

Haven't had any of the A's , but agree with this.

Yea, the "A" is a vitola I've actually only had once (the CAO America "Anthem" in the coffin this past July 4th). They're pretty rare and I'm such a slow smoker anyway that it would have to be a special occasion. But after Moro's review on the Tat Reserva "A" Uno, I'm tempted to look for a couple.

Alaska_Man, if you're looking for some of these Rocky "A"s, I know I've seen them on cigarbid a number of times, just FYI. Not sure on the price, though, I'd guess around $6/stick when you buy the box of 16 (I think it's 16 coffins, could be wrong). I'd post a picture of the 4 I have, but they're buried at the bottom of my humidor aging and I'm way to lazy, lol.
