Rocky Patel Seasonal blends

I've never been a big Rocky smoker - I like the Edge Sumatra but thats about it. Not a Vintage liker....

Had an 09 Autumn the other day and loved it. Are these limited production ie... only makes so many 2009s then that's it til next year. Is that how he works all of his seasonal blends?

I've heard great things about the Winter blends. Are they usually the best? How do they all compare...

The winter blend kicked off the most recent trend in using PA Broadleaf wrapped cigars.

I think they are somewhat limited. I have had several and still have some from the 2008 releases. They are all different and it will be based on you taste which one is "best". They seem to me to try and match the flaver to the season (lighter in summer heavier in winter) sort of like seasonal beer.

I had a few of the Autumn 2009 and I thought they had a very nice flavor to them, kinda a sweet spice perfect for the fall..:thinkidea....may have to see if I can still get some.

Winter 2009 are also good IMHO

The Winter was the most limited with 3000 boxes made. They are long gone.

The winter was the best. Dark, rich, and spicy. I still have 1 left in my humi just waiting for the right occasion to smoke it. I rarely like RP stuff, but this was easily the best stick he ever did IMHO. And it is probably one of my all time favorite limited edition sticks to boot.
