Yeah, the B&M that I regular in Tampa is a retailer for Rodrigo now and the shop owner recommends them. I'll pick some up and let you know how they are.

Awesome. I'm gonna have to give em a try one of these days.

Just picked up some La Fortaleza coronas but it'll be a couple weeks before I try them. They look pretty good.
I was looking at those. I really like corona size smokes.

CJM9177 is a huge fan. I really like them.

The boutique blend is probably my fav :)
^Same, the Rodrigo Boutique Blend was delicious. I also liked the Habano Clasico.
George is a great guy if you ever get to meet him and just sit down and shoot the bull. He and I have traded a lot of PM's and you can tell his energy and love for what he does. My favorite is the Classico and after those the others are a close second. He has sent me some of his own private stock...some that were "test" cigars for new blends and his association with William Ventura...a great blender in his own right tells me that he is methodical about his process of manufacturing. He's not going to rush out blends just because he has tobacco...he has a good feel for the industry and money like everything is what makes it hard to be a maverick and get your stuff out. It's word of mouth and he's grown quite a bit and I like talking with him because he is just a great guy...no ego, no pretense and his measured growth is a testament to his staying one of the better Boutique Cigars out there. One more thing about his cigar....they are at their best around the 6 month mark...they change significantly enough from ROTT to 6 months and they become more balanced. Give em a try.

I was smacked with a Fortaleza Elegante a while back from a local guy at a herf, he swears they are incredible. I normally don't have time for a larger stick (6.75 x48) so I haven't gotten to it yet, but I am eagerly waiting to try it. I will be sure to post my thoughts when I do

Great guy, fantastic cigars. The Boutique Blend might be the best cigar you've never heard of, especially with a few months of rest. The quality is top notch and the blending is well done, I feel that the cigars are priced below their weight class. In a few years George might just be the next Dion Giolito...I'd argue that if it wasn't for his health issues a couple years ago, he might already be there.

George is a great friend and he makes killer cigars. The first time I smoked Fortaleza I described it to George as a 600 horsepower Cadillac. Powerful yet refined.
