Romeo y Julieta Viejo 'E'

I had one of these over the weekend with a Sierra Nevada, and boy was it a pleasant surprise! At first I didn't even realize I was smoking a maduro (no real hint of sweetness, and the wrapper wasn't too dark), and initially thought that it was a good, medium bodied stick. The last two thirds improved significantly, and I became a big fan while smoking it down to the ring. The only thing I didn't love was the box press (personal preference), but I'll definitely be buying a five pack of these to toss in the humidor. In my opinion, a great everyday evening smoke.

Anyone else like these sticks?

I love the Viejo, Brian! Great mild-medium smoke in terms of strength, but full-flavored. I like the flavor profile a lot--earthy and kinda Padron-esque, but not spicy at all. Great morning/afternoon smoke for me (I need something stronger/spicier in the evening).

The only problem with these is that they can often be over-packed and have a very tight draw, so have a draw poker handy :cbig:

Stone, couldn't agree more! That was the exact profile takeaway that I had from the cigar. I will definitely be adding a few of these to the rotation.

Have two of these guys in the humidor at home. Had a third, which I thought was pretty decent, but it was quite a tough draw. Have not tried a second. Have to come back around to it.
