Wow, that's um... interesting. I agree that it's a good idea for them to upgrade to 9mm, but I'm not to sure about that pistol. Sadly, I don't think they're very sure about it either.

I'm suprised that they are going with an unproven gun maker as well. Good design with that low bore axis. Follow up shots should be a lot easier. If they are reliable and accurate. They should have a good pistol. Kind of looks like a mix between a Glock and a Kel Tec PMR 30.

Hope the Russians will be exporting their Makarov's over here. For some reason I want to add a Makarov to my pistol collection and the Russian & East German Mak's have a reputation for being the best. That said I got a feeling that 9mm Makarov (9x18) will get really expensive when the surplus dries up.

Unproven gun maker, and what sounded like an untested gun. That's extremely surprising, sounds like more of an act of loyalty to "The Mother Country" than a well thought out move, lol. with how corrupt their GOV is over there, it really makes me wonder about this. If it turns out to be a decent gun though, looks like it might be a winner, seems to be a good design.

Yea, if they send some of those over here, they may in fact turn into an investment, if you can get one or more in very good shape. I definitely wouldn't mind owning one.
