I finished this cigar about 10 minutes ago, outside on a mild Michigan night. This cigar smelled of fine tobacco, and was actually one of the better smelling cigars I've ever laid my nose up to. The wrapper seemed firm and medium brown in color. This cigar is an attractive boxed press figurado, similar in size to a petite corona. The pre-light draw was firm, which concerned me at first. Once lit, that faded to a wonderful, easy draw producing plenty of smoke. This is a smaller ring gauge cigar than I usually smoke, which are robustos. But the easy draws produced plenty of wonderful smoke. The first inch was creamy and easy on the tounge, almost hinting at a roasted flavor. This was probably my favorite part of the smoke. The second inch gave in to a stronger flavor, but still enjoyable. It got spicy at this point, but never harsh. It got a little spicer toward the end, and the cream first introduced gave in to a peppery finish. The burn stayed relatively even, never went out...with a very dark but firm ash. Overall, one of the better cigars I've had and a great end to a good weekend filled with pizza and football. I'd give it an 8.8 out of 10. Get one if you can still find them.
