Many Iraqis have lost members of their families to him over the years, that would want revenge on anyone associated with him or his regime. Apparently defence council was sought in the US and the UK but was denied as it had to be wholly an Irag trial, bet those lawyers are counting themselves lucky they were never asked!

I find this to be so surprising. If anything, one would think they would be killing the prosecutors not the defense attorneys.
