San Cristobal de La H. Muralla Review:
The new release from San Cristobal (Feb 2006)is massive with its 7 inches long and 54 ring gauge. It first appeared in the San Cristobal Humidor. This cigar is made to improve with age offering a medium strength smoke. Blend and wrapper are both from Vuelta Abajo region. This new vitola is named after a major street in old Havana that used to provide a straight linkage with Puerta de la Tierra, one of the nine doors in the surrounding wall that protects the city. I have a box of the Muralla and the Mercaderes, set them both down to sleep for the next 5-7 years, they will be fantastic when they mature.
Every review I have seen rates them at a 9+
These were a special production for LCdH, and have the second band just as the Boli Gold Medals....same LCdH special run. They can be found in other retailers but should have the second band and maybe even the wax stamp as my BGMs have.
