I'm only familiar with a couple of places in Riyadh.. Is that where you are going?

Duty free at the airport is OK.. All the big/common brands are available.. Cohiba, monte, partagas, etc.. Pricing is good.. But not stellar... You won't see much from the smaller marcas though..

A couple of the high end hotels have cigar bars as well... Very nice smoking bar at the Ritz.. But you'll pay outrageous prices there... I strongly recommend buying elsewhere and bringing it with you if you're going to smoke there...

I'm sure there are a few cigar shops in town.. But I've never been to any of them...

I was back in 2011-2012, but I believe Khobar was good. La Casa Cubana rings a bell, but I can't remember if it was for a good or bas reason. Frankly, there were a pile of fakes out there last time I went through... so buyer beware. If I recall, didn't the tamimi markets have cc's as well?

I very intentionally don't shop the markets or even B&Ms in the ME.. Fakes, high prices, etc...

Almost all the major airports in the region have reasonable to very good duty free.. In some cases (like Dubai) they are LCDH... prices are almost always better than "in town" and you know you're getting the real deal (no fakes)..

Thank you for all the great answers, also how hard would it be to bring said cigars home? Could i pull bands and put them in a traveldor and send home box & bands?
