Saving for a house sucks!!!

Almost saved up a down-payment..despite the important C-Mac auction bids and all the Zaya I have bought recently. Staying home on Fri/Sat nights SUCKS! Wife is studying to be a RN, so we are both happy but temporarily boring as hell. Anyone else in the same boat care to lament? LOL. I dream of a gianst forclosure ripe for eth picking and a walk-in humi.

My wife and I are right there with you. We are having tremendous trouble changing our habits so that we can seriously get down to saving.

Forclosures aren't incredibly hard to find, if you look in the right place. Many times, you just need to search for them in your area.

With ya...cut out box purchases since earlier last year and cut beer in half since jan 1st for moving expenses and down payment in next couple months. Sucks but gotta do what ya gotta do...just keep thinking about smoking on your new patio or finishing your man cave and it will get ya through it.

I am about ready to get the keys to our new home. I am using my VA home option so no down payment. But we have cut back tremendously on our spending. My humidors are getting low and my liquor cabinet is looking the same way. Look up I believe Fannie Mae foreclosures or HUD. You can just type in foreclosures for you are in Google that may help. We found ours by mistake it is a house we have always liked so I looked it up when it went on the market. Hang in there brother it is worth it in the long run.

we got a good deal on one in jacksonville. just have to look every day.

I stay home mostly anyway and enjoy just having friends come over rather than go out. To make it better for now just have some potluck parties to pass the time. I bet you will find that better than most nights out any day.
