Sergeant Ian Anderson: please read

Hi folks. I'm posting this up for Todd and Rachel.

If you've been wanting to do something for Sergeant Anderson's family, there are a couple of options. A fund will be set up in the name of Ian's daughter Lillian, or you can send flowers. Donations are preferred.

If you wish to donate to the fund checks should be made out to the "Lillian Anderson Trust Fund" and mailed to:

Flowers can be sent to the same address and addressed to "The Anderson Family".

If anyone wants to coordinate a donation to cut down on the number of checks flowing into Rachel's mother, feel free to PM me and I can try to coordinate.

OK folks, start thinking about how much you would like to donate and I'll be happy to coordinate. You can post here or send me a pm to let me know you are interested. I'm going to let this generate interest for the next couple of days and then I'll post where you can mail your checks to.

A supplemental idea might be to have a cigar raffle here with the proceeds going to this fund. That might work for those of us who are cigar rich, but cash poor.

Good idea Ted, though we might want to make that a seperate event? I'll check with Todd on timing issues the next time I talk with him. I was trying to coordinate everything so that a check would go out asap, but there is probably no reason it can't be delayed a bit.
