Ok so I've been meaning to get this posted so here goes.
Last weekend I was walking to the park with the kids. They always walk about 30 feet a head of me or ride thier scooters. Anyway I'l enjoy a smoke on the way to the park and then will set up a chair on the side walk because smoking is not allowed in city parks. Anywya I can see the kids, and they know where to find me. So as I'm walking to the park, a car pulls up next to me and stops. Mind you I'm on the left side of the street, and he's on the other, stop in the road. He rolls down the window and proceeds to yell at me with his whole family in the car. He says " What kind of example are you setting by smoking in front of your children!?!?!" Then tells me I should be ashamed of my self. I respond to him. "When my children are supporting a family of thier own they can make what ever decision they want. Until then this is just for adults...the same goes for when we drink wine or beer..adults only" I stepped off the curb and began to walk to his car during my rant. His wife was getting a bit worried..you see I'm not a little guy. Then I asked him if hew would like to step out of his car and show his daughters an example of why you don't talk to strangers. And That if he wasn't willing to set that example then he should just put the car in drive and move along. I never got half way to his car before his wife started to nervously slap his leg saying "just go honey..just go..."
Warning...complaining about my cigar could be hazardous to your health.:argh:
