I placed a few different orders over the holidays, all from Famous. I have some cigars coming via ups ground which will take a full week, and I had a shipment ship out Friday and should get here tomorrow. Generally I get my cigars shipped overnight with AM delivery, so should I be concerned about the cigars being in transit for so long? Or should they all be fine and just need a little extra rest time before smoking?

It's no longer summer so there's nothing to worry about, my famous orders will also take over a week but no issues at all. UPS ground is slow.

They will be fine. PA to AZ via Ground usually take 3-5 business days, plus we had a holiday last week, plus Black Friday.... you can expect the carriers to have a heavy increase in packages.

I always pay the extra for second day shipping, it's usually only about $4.00 more. Only because I'm inpatient and I want them here fast. I talked to the owner of the cigar shop I go to and he gets lots of big packages and they all come in by USPS or UPS ground and I have never had a bad one from him. I really like buying from small Batch because I get those next day and no charge for shipping.
You will be fine with the longer than usual shipping. If you are truly worried, keep them in your humi for a few extra weeks.
Just let them sit in your humi fror 2-4 weeks and you won't have any issues. I personally have been blown away with how quick my orders have arrived. I should have everything I ordered through Sunday by tomorrow. All economy or free shipping method.
Now that's impressive.
