Hey guys,

I'm looking to send some sticks up north. Anyone know the best way to go about this? Doesn't Canada have some nasty import taxes? I've never done this before, so just curious.

Let me know,
Paul

Usps flat rate. If you do it online they will print out the customs form for you.

Just a few extra questions to answer as you click and ship.

Yep, just head on down and ship it, they will have you fill out the customs stuff, takes an extra 2 minutes. I always label it as collectables, not sure it makes a difference.

I'm trying to avoid having this person pay the taxes. Is that possible? Or since I'm not declaring it as cigars, it will be fine?

Taxes on tobacco are very high here in Canada. You have to label them as something else. also, list the value as low as possible. The best way to ship to avoid any questions at Customs is by USPS rather than a courier company such as UPS or FedEX.
