Went through that last year. Had a torn labrum. Follow the directions post op and give the physical therapy 110% and it will be amazing the difference.

I had rotator cuff surgery in December 2011. I'm not gonna lie - it sucked terribly & the pain was intense for me. The physical therapy was very difficult as well. Good luck, brother.

Bone spurs are my major reason for going in, one is on top of my rotator cuff. The hospital is not doing a nerve block on the shoulder so thereos no feeling for 12-18 hours. But yes all I have heard is I will be in a lot of pain!!!!!!! Really glad to get outdone but not the aftermath.

Thanks

Prayers sent and will be keeping you in thought today. I know how you feel about getting it done and wanting to rest. Good luck brother!

Best wishes and prayers for pain relief.

This is probably going to suck short term but should make things better for you in the long run.

I had bone spurs shaved off and my bursa taken out about 15 years ago. It hurt bad for about two weeks but after 6 weeks of therapy it was better then ever.
Good luck.

All went good yesterday. They just shaved the bone spurs but he did not have to repair my rotator cuff. I miss typed yesterday, they did do a nerve block and it lasted till this morning. On pain pills now resting on the couch, start PT on Tuesday.

That's good news. Having to repair your rotator cuff would've been much worse. I hope you have a speedy recovery. PT is a crucial part of the process, so don't take it lightly.
