Very Nice. Yea, I got the same issues with staging. I am missing the bow season but plan to head out for rifle. Was this fine kill taken with a bow or rifle?
Killed a biggin' like this outside yesterday.
I've been meaning to get out this year for whitetail, but haven't got my poop in a group. I'm hoping that my 45-70 qulifies as a cowboy cartridge for Indiana, otherwise I'll have to go with shotgun or blackpowder.
Not a traditional type of guy in terms of bow hunting. Shoot a Matthews SQ2. Very manuverable bow. Cam distance is only 31". But it is a f'in rocket. Boosted to 70#. Firing Carbon Express CS Hunter shaft with Blaser feathers topped off with a Montec G5 one piece broadhead. It's a killer combination.Compound or traditional, Hendy?
My size 14 got it in 3 shots...they are fast!Very Nice. Yea, I got the same issues with staging. I am missing the bow season but plan to head out for rifle. Was this fine kill taken with a bow or rifle?
Nice! My dad used to own an archery store, so I always toured around doing archery shoots and hunting when I was younger. Haven't had time for big game in a while, but I still have my Matthews MQ1. I've taken a few deer and elk and a corsican ram. Almost got a bighorn sheep. Not a traditional type of guy in terms of bow hunting. Shoot a Matthews SQ2. Very manuverable bow. I didn't kill this guy, but here is a cat fish I pulled in while fishing on the ohio (early summer) .
I am guessing it was around 30lbs.
The crappy camera phone didn't get the whole fish in this shot.
Nice buck. I liek them Texas deer. Here's the 11 pointer I got last year in Grimes Co. Texas
