The obvious attempt to rip-off Cohiba already has left a bad taste in my mouth. If you aren't good enough to sell your stuff without trying to fool people into thinking you're a different company, how good can you be? They also have a rip-off of the RP Edge going as well.

I agree and understand it's a cheap ploy to get sales. But I don't agree it's a rip-off or misrepresentation. Altadis has a controlling interest in Habanos, SA and would likely be the sole distributor of CCs in the US if the embargo was lifted. Plus this may have something to do with the recent General Cigar/Habanos Cohiba litigation.

Well, I went and picked one up yesterday, not seeing this post beforehand, so I will try it out. My b&m has them individually, I [icked up the corona for $6.30. Not sure if that is in line with other stores but I felt obligated to make a purchase since I went there originally to use my free coupon for the El Baton. So I have one good smoke to look forward too. El baton cigars seem to have a good name to them here.

I'm not normally picky, but I even think this stick tasted like @$$. Difficult draw, went out every other puff, no flavor, very little smoke, all around a poor experience. I chucked mine in the woods halfway through. Maybe I got a bad one, but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

i do my very best not to smoke wannabee cigars. i've tried way too many, they never hold a shadow to the island stuff, and aren't even good cigars in their own right. i've been thinking really hard since all this altadis stuff came out, and i still can't think of one good experience. even one that is on par with a 4 dollar cigar. always a disappointment. especially for what they want you to pay for the right....

I didn't think it was terrible, didn't think it was great. We sell a freakin' boat load of them at the lounge, I mean a LOT. It's a decent golf course/lawn mowing cigar for those who downgrade for those events.
