Silly question about beads.

I've run out of room in the humidor ( ) so I've got beads sitting on top of a few sticks with cellophane on them.

This isn't a problem is it?

Not sure would be a problem immediately but cello is permeable. If were me I would come up with a different plan. If the RH is good and your humidor is full you can pull the beads out all together till you either make more room or get a bigger storage device.

This won't be a problem. I've got cigars stacked next to, and on top of my heartfelt tubes and they're fine. If you've just moistened your beads and they're sitting in a stocking or something, you might want to segregate it a little bit to get the excess moisture off until they're not wet to the touch so they don't wet wrappers they're sitting next to.

Thanks guys. They're in the plastic tubes that heartfel supplies and I make sure to dry them thoroughly before putting them in the humidor.

I should be making a coolidor before too long so I will be able to get a good bit of my sticks out and make room.

I'd keep them separate if you can. Still risking the possibility of mold.

Definitely don't let the beads touch your sticks. Direct moisture is bad. May end up causing mold or leaf damage.

Well there is cellophane in between the tube and stick.

What about putting a piece of cedar under the tube?
