I just received a box of Sir Winstons but there is no box code. The back has the usual stamp of "Habanos s.a. Hecho En Cuba Totalmente a mano "

Between Hecho en Cuba and Totalmente a mano is simply written the number "2" in pencil.

The source of these is a well known and respected here and I have had more than a half dozen purchases with him without problem. They look and smell authentic and I do not doubt them ... I'm just confused about the box code.

Can anyone help me out ????????

Do these come enclosed in card board?

I have no idea but vaguely remember reading that they do.

Usually, if a box comes in a cardboard outer packaging the stamp is on that.

Others will know for sure though...I merely posted here to try and catch Clay.

I ran into the same thing. all of the seals and stickers were on the cardboard as well as the box code. Apparently to keep the box clean since it is intended for presentation.

Better think before you throw things away next time. But then again I keep everything as it comes in.
