So when did the band change? I have one with the brown band and one with the red and gold band. I trust both sources, so I am figuring it was a change made by H. Up .....what do you say?

Not sure when, but Habanos S.A. has been going through a major band change. All unbandeds are now banded, Mag 46 has a double band (like non-EL Mag 50), several re-dos,...

Not only dif Band but mine(new band) came in a Reg box but with the sturdy outer cardboard box. Just like the new Cohiba 5s where the Cardboard box itself has the seals and box code.

The brown bands are no good Dave, When the bands turn brown it means they are past the sell by date. I'll take care of them for you. :innocent:

I believe the bands all changed last year towards the end of the year. I could be wrong though, but thats when I started seeing them

I think we started seeing them towards late 07. Right when they were building up for the release of the magnum 50. I think that was when all the tubes changed as well from silver and green to beige and orange.

Oh yeah and there is definately something special about aged Upmanns. Wonderfull cigars.

I couldn't remember how gave it to me...I do have those little lables. Maybe I should start using those. My humi is a mess right now. My sigles baxes are all mixed up and I have CC mixed with NC and good stuff by yard gars. I need to spend about an hour or so getting it all squared away again. Thansk dude.

Ok this has been adressed on several occasions. I can spell just fine, but type for chit. My work computer does not allow the spell check feature to be used. I do my best to correct mis-spelling at home, but even then some get past me. How about you go smoke a big Tatuaje and then turn green.:barf:

That one does contain more than the normal 1 or 2 errors. You would think I have been drinking already....and I swear i haven't.
