I was just curious to hear from the SLR lovers in here. Rate what cigars you have tried from this line. Also is there a certain year(s) that were better than others? I see that these can still be found with some decent age on them.:scratchhe So I'm not sure if that is a good thing or bad:dunno:

Thanks

'06/'07 regios and DC, have been really good so far. ive tried alot of the londales from the past 5, 6 years and there just ok nothing special. your best bet is to try to find a '03 cab of regios there still around and smoking fantastic right now.

Rumor has it. . . . . .that the following are quite good:

Series A '01 - '03
Lonsdale '00 - '02; much older ones as previously noted
Churchills (cabs) late 1990's & early 2000's
Churchill tubos; late 1990's as previously noted

Folks tell me that '03 in particular seems to be a wonderful year for SLR. I suspect the long-term aging prospects for these are quite excellent. . .:stretchgr

Love the "A." Have bought about 10 cabs. The ultimate go to cigar. Good price, always good taste/construction.

I've burned four SLR Double Coronas, all extremely delicious. I have two left, and have been fighting the urge to splurge...50 cab $$$ ouch

Don't care for the Regios, and never tried an A.

my favorite in the line is the churchill with the lonsdale coming in 2nd. after those two i really haven't had too many of any other cigar in this line. i do like the regios that i have had though.

i've always wanted to pick up a cab of DC's though.
