I just put down the money for a new S&W M&P 9mm and after 10 days I get to shoot it! I am looking forward to getting it. I was looking at a glock and the Berretta Storm as well but the M&P 9mm seemed to be the best for me. Anyone use it?

extensively...i like it have had one or two break a trigger spring I beleive after probably 20k + rounds in service for a year for instruction and qualification purposes. it will come with 3 grip sizes that you can swap out to fit your hand and that works well too. Ony thing i dont like is the front sight if knocked around enough will shift left or right so its good to get a site pusher tool
as we speak lol

Fine weapon selection Joe.. S&W really helped to re-establish themselves with the M&P line after several years of "ho-humm" products being dropped into the market... they are excellent pistols, sold at a reasonable price...

good choice...

If it's a recent production one, you did well. I own many of them.
Older full size models have significant accuracy and triggers issues that you may need to work around.

Crappy pic from when I was reorganizing the safe a couple days ago. As you can tell, I'm a fan of the M&P.
Please excuse the XDM. It's my dad's gf's competition gun.

Great choice! I have been shooting a great deal of 9mm's lately to find one I like the best. I decided I am purchasing a M&P9 C.O.R.E. for my next firearm purchase. So many shooters I know love theirs to death.

I took this baby out shooting today and after putting 250 rounds through it I can tell you I love it! Very nice easy gun to use. Pretty accurate and easy trigger pull. Had a magazine jam on me but I oiled it up and went perfect from there. My buddy wishes he would have gotten one instead of his Storm now.

+1
This was my original duty weapon, only in a 40 cal. I HATED the trigger, felt sloppy. The options for the backstraps are nice. You can make the weapon fit yourself much better and make it a much more comfortable shooting platform.

Good luck with it brother.
