This is Sam.

Sam was my buddy for 11 years. He sat by me most cigars I smoked. I had to put him down yesterday. Truly horrible experience. In his 11 years of life he ate multiple corn cob pipes and a 5'er of Fuente Short Story. Ate them. I'm truly going to miss him and there will never be another like him. What ever you smoke tonight, smoke it for Sam.

brother, i feel for you. on wednesday i put down a buddy of 12 years, a cat named stitch, he was our first pet together, and the firstby my side whenever i had a bad day.

the day you lost him sucks. SUCKS HARD. focus on the time you had with your dude. 11 years with sam, even if he ate a coule few cobs and short stories, is still solid. that will never leave you. he lived a loved life, and you will never forget that. hopefully it can be enough.

RIP, Sam. Sorry to hear that had to happen, brother.

I don't know the exact date when my pup was born but, since it was around Thanksgiving, I just use the holiday as a way to gauge. This Thanksgiving, he turned 15 and, although he's in generally good health, it's starting to decline a bit faster and I am pretty certain that this will be his last Winter and I'm just hoping he gets to stick around and enjoy the one last Spring.

So, yeah, I've been thinking about the same thing and it's tough. You're in my thoughts and the bowl I smoke tonight will be done in his memory.
