Had part of an afternoon & evening after biz yesterday in downtown Orlando, where a wonderful B&M/giant humidor/manly smoking den known as Corona Cigar Co. is located, and tried these two sticks.
Did not really care for the 88. Was just OK, & kept going out.
LOVED the La Aroma! Just loved it. All a cigar is meant to be. Good look, good feel, and great, rich, magnificent tobacco flavor.
Actually, I also bought & smoked a Tatuaje red label first, and was 1/3 into it before I realized like a moron that it's the BROWN label is the more fuller bodied one, which I prefer. The red was good, but a bit on the mild side for my tastes.
Bought a couple other sticks to try later upon the advice of a nice employee I met there with whom I talked cigars for a while. Also read some good cigar porn while relaxing/smoking in one of the nice leather rocking chairs--a hardbound copy of the life story of Newman and various other cigar mags.
I wish I had a few thousand to blow on a bunch of cigars . . . there are just so many that need trying . . . . Those giant La Aurora panatelas look beautiful, but are too spendy for me.
