Smokin in Louisiana

Hello Everyone,

I smoked my first premium cigar in Dec 2010 on vacation in the Bahamas and from then on i was hooked. Since then i have been through several humidors, chests, and now into a cabinet. I seem to be more hooked on collecting them than smoking them, though i do enjoy a good stogie when time allows. :cbig:

If you find yourself in NOLA I suggest the Cigar factory, right on Bourbon. Last time there I bought some Cameroons and a bundle of the #2s and locked them away for a while. The 2's benefit from a little rest but I find the Cameroons just keep getting better the longer they sit. Because they roll these there, they are super fresh.... so its a no brainer to let them sit.

I had a friend pick me up a sampler from the Cigar Factory in NOLA last feb. still sitting in humidor. I was letting them get a little age on them, I figured i would smoke them before my next trip to NO that way the ones i like ill buy by the box. Thanks for the info.

Welcome to the brotherhood...if you haven't visited the Crescent City Cigar Shop in the french quarter it is a must try. Owner Armando is a cool cat and has a great selection of premiums. Very chill spot.
