My father in law is a brother to you guys, although not a BOTL. He's also a shriner clown now, and enjoys all the opportunities to give back in whatever fashion he is able. Great groups of people all around.

My grandfather was a mason when he was alive.

One of the few memories I have from him is him asking me to take all his 'relics' from his membership when he was gone. At 6 or 7 years old I had no idea what any of it meant, and to be brutally honest, still don't. Why he insisted I take them I'll never know. I don't know if members can speak about it but whats the story behind the masons? Can anyone join or would I not be able to keep on as my grandfather was? I've always been very intrigued.

Did a quick google search on how to become a mason. Mason's are apparently not allowed to solicit you to become a member. You can ask for information on how to become a member, and they will provide you with information on how to become a member.

Why Google when the information is right there on Zulu's site? :smokingbo

Membership is open to men age 18 and older who believe in a Supreme Being and meet the qualifications and standards. Men of all ethnic and religious backgrounds are welcome. One of Masonry's traditions is that we do not solicit members. Men must seek membership on their own initiative. When you're ready to join, you can complete the Lodge 524 Application for Degrees.

Old thread revival
MM of Veedersburg Indiana Lodge 491. Implanted to Oklahoma in 2003, but have neglected the brotherhood. I've just recently contacted Siloam Lodge in Bethany Oklahoma. Read on their website they have a "Cigars on the Patio" meet and greet on Thursday nights. Convenient!

Thread closed since no activity since 2009 until today, Gents Remember, there is no need to bump old threads that have been inactive for 8 years. I am leaving up the info that The new poster gave though, just in case someone was curious as to the new info.

Respectfully,
AB
